North Carolina.
John Mount . John married Hannah Harris .of Rockingham County, North Carolina moved after 1815 to East Tennessee. Their son, Harris Mount, joined the army and served in the Indian wars in the south and was stationed in the Mississippi territory (now Alabama). His family moved to Alabama and later to Bedford Co., Tennessee and lived in the area which, in 1836, was created, into Marshall County.
